Q: How long will it take to perform my roofing tear-off ro re-roof?

A: 1-3 days is the average amount of time necessary but some larger projects may take longer.

Q: How long will my new roof last?

A: Most manufactures are for 30 years. We believe with the use of top quality products, proper installation and adequate ventilation it will outlast even that period of time.

Q: Do I ever deal with a subcontractor or salesman?

A: Never, you deal directly with one owner to coordinate your project and directly with another to perform your job.

Q: How long have you been in business and are you reviewed?

A: we have been in business since 1979, running 3 generations strong. You can check us out on  BBB, Angieslist, and the BCB.

Q: How many layers of roofing can I install?

A: NYS roofing code states it is unwise and unsafe to install more than 2 layers of roofing. We WILL NOT install a 3rd layer.

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes we have full workman’s comp and liability insurance. You are always protected when working with Ron Ferris & Son

Q: Do you take measures to protect my home and landscaping?

A: We not only take every measure possible to protect your home and landscaping, but we provide clean walkways and thorough clean up to ensure your family and pet’s safety.

Q: Do you “price match” competitors?

A: Although we strive to provide our customers with the most competitive pricing as possible, we will not sacrifice our employee safety or the quality of our work to do so.

Q: Will ice/water shield prevent ice damage?

A: No. Ice/water shield will not prevent ice damming, but we install our ice/water shield 6 ft. high on all roof eaves and finish it with only the highest quality GAF roofing materials to ensure that ice and water cannot penetrate your new roofing system
